Hassan Sultan Al-Ghanim

Mr. Hassan Sultan Al-Ghanim currently serves as Assistant Undersecretary for Consumer Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, where he oversees a number of strategic portfolios, including Qatar’s Strategic Food Subsidy Programme, the strategic food stock, and the development and modernisation of consumer protection systems.

He previously served as Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he contributed to shaping national economic policies and strengthening Qatar’s international economic partnerships. He also held a number of positions at the Amiri Diwan and Barwa Real Estate Group, where he managed investment portfolios and major construction projects. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of Hassad Food, Vice Chairman of Al Meera Consumer Goods Company, and a Board Member of Widam Food Company.

Mr. Al-Ghanim holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Leeds, in addition to executive education certificates from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard University, and Georgetown University.
