H.E. Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs Meets with India’s Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs

H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs, met today, Tuesday, 29 September 2026, with H.E. Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs of the Republic of India, during her current visit to the country.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed areas of cooperation between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, particularly in the fields of trade and investment. They also discussed a number of issues of common interest.

The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen economic cooperation, open new avenues for fruitful partnerships between Qatari and Indian investors and companies, and encourage them to benefit from the available opportunities, in a manner that serves the shared interests of the two friendly countries.
