H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Industry affirmed that the “Build Your House” exhibition provides a specialised platform that enables citizens to explore the latest solutions and technologies in construction and design and learn about the options available throughout the various stages of building their homes. His Excellency also highlighted the importance of the exhibition in providing opportunities for local small and medium-sized enterprises to showcase their products and services and present innovations that contribute to the development of smart and sustainable housing.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is participating in the exhibition as a Supporting Partner, as part of its efforts to develop the private sector, enhance the competitiveness of national industries, and encourage the adoption of modern and sustainable technologies in the construction sector, thereby supporting economic diversification and contributing to the achievement of the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.

The Ministry’s pavilion showcases a range of products from national factories operating in the construction sector, with the aim of highlighting the quality and diversity of local products, encouraging their use, and strengthening engagement between manufacturers, contractors and consumers, thereby expanding the presence of national products in the local market.

The pavilion also introduces visitors to the Ministry’s key digital services and initiatives, including the Single Window platform, Smart Advisor, the “Saif” Smart Assistant, and the Business Map, highlighting their role in facilitating procedures, streamlining services and providing the information required to support investors and entrepreneurs.

The exhibition brings together a selection of contracting companies, engineering consultancies, building-material suppliers and home-furnishing providers. It also provides a platform for direct engagement between companies and citizens and enables visitors to explore available options across the various stages of construction, from planning and design through to implementation and fit-out.
