Ali Khalid Al-Khalifi

Mr. Ali Khaled Al Khulaifi currently serves as Assistant Undersecretary for Shared Services at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, where he oversees the Ministry’s shared services framework, works to enhance institutional efficiency, and supports digital transformation and the development of government services in line with the Ministry’s strategic objectives.

He previously served as Director of the Planning and Quality Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and as Acting Director of the Information Technology Department. He has held a number of leadership positions across government, semi-governmental, and private-sector entities, including Executive Director of Business Support Services at the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Company (Enterprise Qatar), Executive Director of ICT Industry Development at the Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology (ICT QATAR), and Business Development Manager at Vodafone Qatar. He also has previous experience with Qatar Telecom (Qtel).

Mr. Al Khulaifi holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Qatar University and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from HEC Paris in Doha. He also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
