Qatar Food Security Terminal
The State of Qatar is currently developing independent strategic silos at Hamad Port for the transport, storage, and processing of various food commodities. It has been identified that there is a need to operate and maintain the food security terminal at Hamad Port in a professional, efficient, and safe manner by the operator. Given the terminal’s excess storage capacity beyond Qatar’s strategic food security requirements, an opportunity was identified to implement the project as a public-private partnership .
Allocating Lands for the Construction and Operation of Private Schools for (4 plots)
The project includes (4) schools in the areas of Al Wukair (2), Al Sailiya and Mansoura.
Waste-to-Energy Facility – Phase (2)
The Ministry of Municipality seeks to build a second solid waste management center (DSWMC-2) to ensure a high level of waste utilization and recycling towards the goal of zero landfills in Qatar. Site area: 300 hectares, 60% of which is available for development. Capacity: 960,000 tons of municipal solid waste per year.
