The Ministry of Business and trade hosted on Monday 21/11/2011 at the Ritz – Carlton hotel, an economic delegation from the Arab Republic of Egypt, in the presence of Mr. / Mohamed Hassan Al-Saadi, Assistant Undersecretary for Trade, Mr. / Majed Abdul Rahman Al-Mahmoud, Assistant Undersecretary for Business, and Dr. / Muharram Sibai Hilal, Vice President of the Federation of Egyptian Investors and head of the delegation, along with representatives from Qatari companies and Egyptian businessmen.

Mr. Mohammad Hassan Al-Saadi expressed in his opening statement that the State of Qatar attaches great importance, in terms of the political leadership, to the proliferation of the Qatari investments in various investment projects in Egypt. He described the Qatari keenness to contribute in the growth and the sustainable development of Egypt, stressing the importance of such projects and their role in changing the level of the citizens’ public life and opening more employment opportunities for young people.

From his side, Dr. Hilal addressed a welcome speech in which he stressed that the visit of the Egyptian delegation to Doha is just the beginning of a successful cooperative relation between the investors in both countries.

At the end of the seminar, the two parties exchanged souvenirs while a luncheon was held in honor of the visiting delegation.
