Doha – Wednesday, March 23, 2022:

His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, met today with His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Bashir Abdalla, Minister of Minerals of the Sudanese Republic, and his accompanying delegation currently visiting the country.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Obaidli, CEO of Qatar Mining.

During the meeting, the officials touched on the commercial, industrial, and investment relations between the State of Qatar and the Sudanese Republic, as well as ways to enhance and develop them. They also discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two sides.

During the meeting, H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Industry highlighted the economic policies Qatar has put in place to support the private sector and pointed to the incentives, legislations, and promising opportunities that allow Sudanese companies to expand and invest in the State of Qatar.
