H.E. Minister of Commerce and Industry participates in World Government Summit in Dubai

His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim AlThani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, participated in the activities of the World Government Summit 2023, which was organized by the United Arab Emirates under the themeForeseeing Future Governments from 13-15February, 2023 in Dubai.

The Summit brought together a distinguished group of state leaders, heads of government, ministers, senior officials, decision makers, thought leaders, and specialists in commercial, industrial, investment, and economic affairs from around the globe.

During the Summit, H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Industry attended a number of the Summits main sessions, including  high-level and specialized dialogue sessions titled “10 Years of Transformation”, “The State of the World”, and “The Role of Climate Finance in Building a Sustainable Future”.

Additionally, H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Industry, met with H.E. Najla Bouden Romdhane, Tunisian Prime Minister, and the accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, officials touched on the bilateral relations between Qatar and Tunisia and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in various fields such as trade, investment, and different industries, in addition to exchanging views on the Summit’s agenda topics.

H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani highlighted the successful economic policies Qatar has put in place to support the private sector, and pointed out the incentives, legislations, and promising opportunities that are aimed at encouraging investors, businessmen, and business owners to invest in Qatar.
