His Excellency Sultan Bin Rashid Al-Khater, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry met today with His Excellency Mr. Furkat Sidikov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the accompanying delegation currently visiting the country.

During the meeting, officials touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed aspects of joint cooperation, especially in the commercial, investment, and industrial fields, as well as ways to enhance and develop them.

The meeting also featured a discussion of trade policies between the two countries, and the efforts exerted by both to confront the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the meeting, H.E. the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry highlighted Qatar’s economic development, and the investment opportunities offered by the State to Foreign investors and companies looking to invest in Qatar.
