His Excellency Mr Sultan bin Rashid Al-Khater, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, met with Dr Jochen Koeckler, Chairman of the Managing Board of Deutsche Messe, in the presence of a representative of the Investment Promotion Agency, as part of Qatar’s participation in the Hannover Messe International Industrial Fair 2022.

The meeting featured discussing ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides so as to support and enhance the State of Qatar’s participation in the future editions of the Hannover Fair.

During the meeting, H.E. the Undersecretary of Commerce and Industry highlighted the successful economic policies Qatar has put in place to support the private sector, and pointed out the incentives, legislation, and promising opportunities available in Qatar that are aimed at encouraging German investors, businessmen, and business owners to invest in Qatar.

The Deutsche Messe is the operating company for the Hanover Fairground, based in the city of Hanover, Germany. It is the largest trade fair operator in Germany and was founded in 1947. It specializes in organizing trade fairs for capital goods, human resource management, education, technology, as well as consumer goods and other fields.
