HE the Minister of Business and Trade Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulaziz Al Thani met on Monday 22/04/2013 with Vietnamese minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Welfare, HE Mrs. Pham Thi Hai Chuyen, on the side line of the meeting of the Qatari-Vietnamese Joint Commission for Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation.
During the meeting, they discussed topics related to the joint commission’s work in addition to several issues of mutual interest.
The State of Qatar and the Republic of Vietnam are bound by several trade agreements in the economic, trade and investment fields, in addition to an agreement on the protection and encouragement of investments.
The value of Qatar’s exports to Vietnam was amounted to about QAR 737 million in 2012, while the value of imports from Vietnam in 2012 was amounted to QAR 416.4 million,
