HE the Minister of Business and Trade Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulaziz Al Thani met on Monday 04/03/2013 with HE Mr. Alexander Stubb Finland’s Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade.
During the meeting they exchanged views and discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries, especially in economic and trade fields as well a number of issues of common concern.
It should be mentioned that the State of Qatar and the Republic of Finland have earlier signed an agreement to encourage and protect mutual investments, in addition to another agreement on economic, trade and technical cooperation.
The volume of trade exchange between the two countries reached in 2011 about QR 260 million while the value of Qatari exports to Finland totaled QR 44.5 million with  the value of imports for the same period totaling QR 216 million.
