The Ministry of Business and Trade, and through its inspection campaigns made by the Consumer Protection Department to monitor the activities of all markets to ensure their compliance with the laws and regulations,
 
Had issued the decision of the administrative closure of (8) fish and seafood restaurants for offering (Imported White Fish Fillet) and selling it as being (Hammour Fish Fillet), which is considered as fraud represented by describing a good in a manner that contains false and deceptive statements which constitutes a contravention of the provisions of Article No. (7) of Law No. (8) of 2008 on consumer protection.
 
The closed restaurants are:
1-     Favorite Fish Restaurant (New Mirqab)
2-     Quick Fishes Restaurant (Airport Area)
3-     Estacosa Restaurant (Bin Mahmoud)
4-     Little Sailor Restaurant for Sea Food (North Muaizer)
5-     Golden Fish Restaurant (Al Sadd)
6-     Al Adid Restaurant for Fish and Grill (North Muaizer)
7-     Arab Bukhari Restaurant (Al Khor)
8-     Al Karwan Restaurant (Al Markhiya)
