The Ministry of Business and Trade launched on Monday 04/03/2013 at St. Regis- Doha hotel, the “Qatar Business & Trade 2012” report, in the presence of a number of officials and managers from different government and private agencies, in addition to entrepreneurs and businessmen interested in the trade and economy sectors.
HE Sheikh Jassim Bin Abdul Aziz Al Thani, Minister of Business and Trade said that the report provides an overview of the evolution of the Qatari economy over the past three decades and progress it has made towards meeting the strategic objectives of Qatar.
He added that this study report would provide a context to economic stakeholders and decision-makers with information and statistical data that will facilitate the way forward on our path to growth and sustainable development.
A copy of the report in its Arabic and English versions was posted on the ministry’s website, noting that this report will be updated and published by MBT in a yearly basis.
