The Ministry of Business and Trade took part in Qatar Career Fair 2013 inaugurated on Monday, April 1st 2013 by HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at Qatar National Convention Center, under the slogan “Employ the Present for the Future”.
HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Business and Trade Mr. Sultan bin Rashid Al Khater stated that the Ministry’s participation comes with the support and follow-up and attention of His Excellency Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Minister of Business and Trade, within the ministry’s goal to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030 which focuses on human and social development and investment in knowledge.
HE pointed out that the Ministry would seek through its participation this year to prioritize people with special needs by employing them in the Ministry to ensure their active role in the society.
He added that the employment policy pursued by the Ministry aimed at human capacity building and training, adding that the Ministry took into account the link between these policies and the 2011/2016 national development strategy.
HE the Undersecretary underlined the Ministry’s commitment to support and promote Qatarization policy.
The MBT pavilion which will take place in the governmental agencies’ section, pearl category No. G.PO2, has been equipped with laptops, employment forms and different-sized screens showing film about the ministry. It should be noted that cooperation was made in this context with the Al Noor Institute for the Blind to provide special employment applications for blinds to make it easy for applicants to fill out and submit the forms.
On the first day of the Fair, the Ministry unveiled the first pilot edition of law No. (25) for 2005 on the commercial registration printed in Braille.
