The Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued its monthly report on special licenses for January 2022, with a total of 71 licenses granted for sale at reduced prices (discounts, festivals, final liquidations, and loyalty customers).

The report indicates that the number of special licenses, including for promotions, special offers, prize draws, and swipe and win, amounted to 372 last January, with 42 for retail outlets in malls, and 321 for special offers, including new prices, buy one get one free, and buy one get the second item at half price, etc.

The report indicated that there were 9 licenses granted for prize draws last January.
