The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has opened free registration for local firms and foreign companies specialized in the “production, supply and distribution of dates” in order to participate in the “Seasonal Market Dates,” which will take place from February 15 to March 15, 2018 in the traditional Souq Waqif, one of the most important tourist attractions in Qatar. Souq Waqif attracts both local visitors and foreign tourists and is largely popular among citizens and residents of Qatar for its yearlong events, exhibitions and festivals.
The seasonal Market Dates, which is specialized in all varieties of dates, provides an opportunity for companies to display and promote various date products in addition to food products that go into the production of dates as well as industries related to the trade, production and manufacturing of dates.
