The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation, organized on Tuesday March 22, 2016 a blood donation campaign at its headquarters in Lusail, in an effort to contribute to blood bank reserves in the State of Qatar.
 
A large number of employees participated in the campaign in support of this noble humanitarian initiative.
 
The campaign comes within the framework of the ministry’s social responsibility efforts and embodies its humanitarian values, which lie at the core of a comprehensive strategy aimed at achieving Qatar National Vision 2030, which focuses on promoting sustainable human development.
 
The campaign generated a great deal of interest among male and female employees at the ministry who flocked to the mobile medical clinic. Donors expressed a positive response and showed great awareness to the importance of donating blood and contributing to increasing blood bank reserves, praising the initiative that will save the lives of many patients.
 
Employees expressed their happiness in participating in this humanitarian initiative, which is consistent with their values and which demonstrates their commitment to their community.
