The State of Qatar participated through a delegation headed by His Excellency Mr. / Sultan Bin Rashid Al Khater – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Business and Trade in the activities of the Fourth Session of the Trade and Investment Conference held in “Sun City” at the Republic of South Africa.
This participation comes in response to the official invitation sent ​​by the Trade Minister of South Africa to the State of Qatar within the framework of the close ties between the two countries, as a way to discuss the opportunities of investment and business establishment in the African continent, and South Africa in particular.
On the sidelines of the conference, HE the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Business and Trade met His Excellency the President of the Republic of South Africa, accompanied by HE Qatar’s Ambassador to Pretoria Dr / Bashir Issa Al- Shirawi and members of the Qatari delegation participating in the conference.
His Excellency and the accompanying delegation, met also in the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of Qatar, a number of ministers and senior officials, where they discussed during those meetings the ways of developing the aspects of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of trade and investment.
