HE Sheikh Jassim Bin Abdualziz Al Thani, the Minster of Business & Trade, has urged auto dealers to reduce their prices and deliver top quality services to consumers.

During the meeting attended by chairmen of auto agencies in Qatar, he stressed that the Ministry will take actions, when needed, and it will not sit on the sidelines doing nothing, on the contrary, it will exert all efforts to safeguard and protect consumer rights.
The meeting discussed many issues related to prices of vehicles, spare parts, and after-sales maintenance services.
 
In line with the Minister’s directions, the Consumer Protection Department of the Ministry of Business & Trade has arranged several meetings with the chairmen and sales officers of auto agents in Qatar to reduce prices, offer after-sales top quality services, and pay more attention to quality of consumer service.
 
It is worth mentioning that HE Shk. Hamad bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al Thani, Prime Minister & Foreign Minister, has stressed during the 4th Businessmen Advisory Meeting the need for businessmen to reduce prices, “please consider reviewing and reducing your prices, otherwise, we will not make trade agencies exclusive anymore!”
