Souq Waqif, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, has announced the opening of free registration for local firms and foreign companies specialized in the “production, supply and distribution of honey” in order to participate in the “Seasonal Honey Market.” The market will be organized by Souq Waqif, in cooperation with the Ministry, from March 21 to March 27, 2018 in the traditional Souq Waqif, one of the leading tourist attractions in Qatar.
 
The seasonal honey market is aimed at supporting national products, bolstering trade and opening new commercial channels for traders, entrepreneurs and investors in addition to providing for support small and medium enterprises.
 
The market is the largest specialized exhibition for honey of different kind and offers local and Arab companies the opportunity to display and promote their various products as well as goods related to the trade and production of honey.
 
 
As part of efforts to support and encourage companies to participate in the market, organizers have coordinated with Qatar Airways to provide a 40% discount on air cargos. Gulf Warehousing Company is also offering free transportation of goods from shipping containers to warehouses as well as free storage for participants.
