The Ministry of Business and Trade, and through the inspection campaigns made by the Consumer Protection Department to monitor all activities in the markets to ensure their compliance with the relevant laws and regulations, had issued the decision of the closure of 3 Shops for Cosmetics, Make Up and Salons’ Products Selling, for one month, due to offering and selling expired products, which constitutes violation of the Article (6) of the Law No. (8) on Consumer Protection that stipulates that “offering, presenting, promoting or advertising any damaged or rotten merchandises shall be prohibited. The merchandise is considered as damaged or rotten if it is not complied with decided standards or not valid for use or expired”.
The closed shops are :
1 – Nazih Trading, New Mirqab – Al Nasr
2 – Nazih Trading, Salwa Road Branch
3 – Nazih Trading, Barwa Village Branch – Al Wakra
