Doha, 8 April, 2021: Under the generous patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, the first “Qatar Economic Forum, Powered by Bloomberg,” will be held virtually, between June 21-23, 2021
The Supreme Organizing Committee announced that the first forum is Produced by Bloomberg Live and editorially programmed by Bloomberg News under the theme “Reimagining the World” and will convene participants from the world’s leading experts and decision makers in the fields of finance, economics, investment, technology, energy, education, sports and climate.
“Qatar Economic Forum, Powered by Bloomberg” aims to prepare plans for international economic growth in the post pandemic world and to benefit from the strategic location of the State of Qatar — being at the confluence of the East, West, and Africa –to drive collaboration and connectivity as a means for advancing economic opportunity.
On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the first Qatar Economic Forum, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Highness for his generous patronage of the event. This forum reflects Qatar’s efforts to lead economic growth, achieve the comprehensive development goals, and instill its leading position as one of the most important investment destinations regionally and globally, H.E. said.
