His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, met today, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, with several representatives of countries participating in the Second Business Forum of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue Countries. His Excellency held separate meetings with the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Mr. Zavqi Zavqizoda; His Excellency Mr. Ihsan Afzal, Coordinator to the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and His Excellency Mr. Samad Hassanzadeh, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The meetings discussed topics of mutual interest aimed at enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, and industry, as well as ways to support and develop these sectors. Views were also exchanged on the topics included in the forum's agenda. During the meetings, His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Industry highlighted the successful economic policies adopted by the State of Qatar to support the private sector, emphasizing the incentives, legislation, and promising opportunities aimed at encouraging investors, businessmen, and companies to invest in Qatar.
