The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced the working hours for the Single Window services during the holy month of Ramadan. The morning shift will start from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and the afternoon hours will be from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The updated schedule reflects the Ministry’s commitment to ensuring efficiency in service provision during the holy month.

The Ministry announced, earlier this month, that its services will be available at extended evening hours from Sunday to Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, as a flexible option to fast-track services. The initiative allows beneficiaries to finalise their transactions after standard hours, whereby reducing congestion at service centers and improving the entire experience for beneficiaries.

The evening service has seen increasing demand from individuals and businesses, who expressed satisfaction at the flexibility of services provided to entrepreneurs and investors.

Last week, the Single Window received 850 visitors; of whom 150 visitors finalised transactions at evening hours, representing over 17% of total beneficiaries. The swift adoption of evening service reduces congestion at peak hours between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM.

This initiative is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to modernise procedures, improve customer experience and provide flexible services. It aims to foster national business environment in line the strategic objectives of the Ministry under Qatar National Vision 2030.

The initiative contributes to expediting business cycles and project timelines, particularly for enterprises, requiring swift government procedures. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry reaffirms its commitment to enhancing the efficiency of the Single Window services, reducing processing times, and improving customer satisfaction, thereby strengthening Qatar’s overall business ecosystem.
