H.E. Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, held the second meeting with representatives of the private sector from Qatar Chamber and Qatari Businessmen Association. The meeting, held at the Ministry’s headquarters, discussed the key challenges facing the private sector, explored practical solutions, and reviewed latest developments on the Ministry’s initiatives and projects.

During the meeting, the Minister reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting and empowering the private sector as a key partner in sustainable economic development. His Excellency noted that the meeting reflects the Ministry’s ongoing approach to strengthening direct communication channels with private sector partners and listening to their perspectives and proposals.

The Minister underscored that constructive cooperation and the integration of efforts between all parties form the basis for overcoming challenges. His Excellency emphasised the importance of continuing collaboration to implement the initiatives that focus on building a dynamic investment-friendly business ecosystem.

The meeting addressed several initiatives and projects rolled out by the Ministry oriented to improving the business climate, including streamlining procedures, modernising regulations, and facilitating commercial and investment activities.

The meeting is part of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s broader efforts to implement its strategy to enhance economic competitiveness and reinforce public-private partnerships, in line with the Third National Development Strategy (NDS3) and Qatar National Vision 2030 that aim to build a diversified and sustainable economy driven by the private sector.
