The State of Qatar participated today, Wednesday, 17 September 2025, in the 7th Extraordinary Meeting of the Committee of Undersecretaries of Industry Ministries in GCC Countries, held in Kuwait.

The Qatari delegation was chaired by H.E. Mr. Saleh bin Majid Al-Khalifi, Assistant Undersecretary for Industrial Affairs and Business Development at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, with the distinguished participation of Their Excellencies the Undersecretaries of Industry Ministries from the GCC countries; H.E. the Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs at the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council; and H.E. the Secretary-General of the Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting (GOIC).

The discussions addressed several topics of mutual interest, notably the proposed definition of the GCC national product, and concluded with the adoption of appropriate decisions.
