Ministry of Commerce and Industry Hosts Delegation from Saudi Export Development Authority to Discuss Enhancing Trade Cooperation

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry hosted a trade delegation from the Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports) to discuss pathways to enhance trade cooperation among the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ayed Manahi Al-Qahtani, Assistant Undersecretary for Commerce Affairs from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Mr. Saud bin Hamad Algublan, Vice President of Services Exports at Saudi Exports, along with senior officials from both sides.

Discussions highlighted the depth of mutual economic relations, and underscored the importance of fostering cooperation in the fields of trade and investment, in line with the national visions of both countries. 

The meeting also addressed priority initiatives and stressed the importance of continuing institutional coordination to promote trade integration, improve investment ecosystems, and create new opportunities for partnerships between the private sectors in both countries.

The two sides further explored means of supporting the services export sector and advancing public-private partnerships, in addition to reviewing promising opportunities in several sectors, particularly consultancy and digital transformation. The two parties affirmed the importance of working together to identify new trade partnerships that deliver on the aspirations of business communities in both countries.
