The meetings brought together the Ministers of Commerce and Industry of the GCC member states and H.E. Mr. Jasem Mohamed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the GCC, during which a range of issues of mutual interest listed on the agenda were discussed and the necessary resolutions adopted.

The Ministers also discussed several key topics, including the unified definition of the GCC national product, the list of goods subject to collective protection, and the promotional plan for industrial investment opportunities in member states. They further reviewed a number of initiatives and proposals to develop the industrial sector in the GCC and considered the recommendations of the committee of undersecretaries of industry of the GCC states, adopting relevant decisions.

Meanwhile, the 10th Ministerial Committee for Standardisation Affairs addressed recent developments in the work of the GCC Standardisation Organisation (GSO), endorsed draft GCC technical regulations, approved updates to the organisation’s structure, and adopted its Strategic Plan (2026–2030). The Committee also ratified the internal regulations of the GCC Accreditation Centre and issued the appropriate resolutions in this regard.
