His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, inaugurated on Monday, 17 November 2025, the 11th edition of the ‘Ruwad’ 2025 entrepreneurship conference. The event is organised by Qatar Development Bank from 17 to 19 November at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, under the theme: “Beyond Boundaries: Scaling, Sustaining, and Succeeding.” 

Following the inauguration, the Minister toured the accompanying exhibition, where he was briefed on key innovations and products showcased by local and international companies operating across various sectors.  

Rowad is Qatar’s national entrepreneurship platform and a flagship Global Entrepreneurship Week event, connecting startups, SMEs, and ecosystem leaders. This year’s edition features workshops, advisory sessions, B2B meetings, and the Young Entrepreneur Club Media Forum, driving innovation and reinforcing Qatar’s role as a regional hub.
