His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, met on Saturday, 6 December 2025, with His Excellency Mr. Mohammad Nidal Al-Shaar, Minister of Economy and Industry of the Syrian Arab Republic, on the sidelines of the Doha Forum 2025.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed trade, investment and industrial cooperation between Qatar and Syria, and discussed ways to further develop bilateral relations. They also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.

Discussions further addressed opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation and advance areas of partnership between the two countries in the future.
