His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, met on Sunday, 7 December 2025, with His Excellency Mr. Atheer Dawood Al-Ghurairi, Minister of Trade of the Republic of Iraq, who is currently visiting the State of Qatar.

The meeting reviewed bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, and industry, and discussed ways to strengthen these relations, in addition to exchanging views on a range of issues of mutual interest.

Discussions further addressed the successful economic policies adopted by Qatar to support the private sector, as well as the incentives, legislation, and promising investment opportunities available to encourage investors and businesspersons to invest in the Qatari market.
