His Excellency Mr. Saleh Majid Al-Khulaifi, Assistant Undersecretary for Industrial Affairs and Business Development at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, met today, Wednesday, 10 December 2025, with a British delegation comprising government officials, policymakers, and executives from leading artificial intelligence companies. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the delegation’s participation in the World Summit AI – Doha 2025.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital transformation, and reviewed opportunities to develop partnerships in digital innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly in supporting startups and exchanging specialized expertise, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the United Kingdom’s growth agenda.

The discussions also covered Qatar’s key economic policies to support the private sector, as well as the incentives, legislation, and attractive investment opportunities provided to encourage investors and entrepreneurs to engage in the Qatari market.
