His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, met today with His Excellency Mr. Harry Coker Jr., Secretary of Commerce for the State of Maryland, during his official visit to Qatar on Wednesday, 10 December 2025. The Secretary was accompanied by a delegation of companies from various sectors.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral trade and investment cooperation and discussed ways to strengthen and expand it, in addition to addressing a number of issues of mutual interest.

The discussions also highlighted Qatar’s key trade and investment policies aimed at supporting the private sector, as well as the incentives, legislation, and attractive investment opportunities offered by the State, which contribute to encouraging investors and business leaders to enter the Qatari market.
