His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al-Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, met with a delegation of U.S. companies specializing in artificial intelligence, on the sidelines of the delegation’s visit to the State of Qatar, which was organized in cooperation with the Qatar–U.S. Business Council.

During the meeting, a number of topics of mutual interest were discussed, particularly those related to strengthening cooperation in the fields of trade, technology, and economic strategies, in addition to reviewing available investment opportunities in the State of Qatar.

The meeting also addressed the interest of several leading U.S. companies in exploring long-term investment opportunities in the Qatari market, in light of the expansion of technology- and innovation-related sectors.

Representatives from the Qatar Investment Authority and the Investment Promotion Agency participated in the meeting, during which avenues for cooperation were reviewed and ways to enhance the participation of U.S. companies in available opportunities within the country were discussed, contributing to the strengthening of the economic partnership between the State of Qatar and the United States of America.
