The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced the launch of a home delivery service for subsidised ration items to citizens’ homes, in collaboration with Rafeeq and Snoonu.
Under the new service, ration item requests may be submitted through the Rafeeq and Snoonu applications using the 8-digit serial number printed at the bottom of the ration card (Serial No.), at a delivery fee of QAR 25.
It added that the new service is characterised by ease and speed in obtaining ration items, with comprehensive coverage across all areas. The service also applies the highest security standards through the use of a One-Time Password (OTP) sent prior to order execution to verify identity and ensure accurate delivery.
This step comes as part of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s efforts to enhance digital transformation in ration services, in line with its strategy aimed at achieving excellence in the delivery of government services by adopting innovation, improving customer experience, and developing digital systems to ensure efficient and flexible service delivery.
