





H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, met with a number of senior officials on the sidelines of his participation in the World Economic Forum (Davos 2026), held in Switzerland.
During the forum, His Excellency met with H.E. Mr. Andrej Babiš, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic; H.E. Mr. Nicolas Forissier, Minister Delegate to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, responsible for Foreign Trade and Attractiveness, French Republic; H.E. Ms. Hélène Budliger Artieda, State Secretary for Economic Affairs (SECO), Swiss Confederation; and Mr. David Sacks, White House Special Advisor for AI and Crypto and Co-Chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST).
His Excellency also met with representatives of a number of global companies, as part of efforts to strengthen partnerships with the global private sector.
The meetings discussed ways to enhance trade and investment relations between the State of Qatar and these countries, expand prospects for joint economic cooperation, facilitate trade exchange, and support partnerships between business communities, in addition to exchanging views on regional and international economic developments.
H.E. the Minister of State for Foreign Trade also participated in the Gulf–UK meeting, held today with the participation of Their Excellencies Ministers of Trade, during which topics of mutual interest in the trade and investment fields were discussed, as well as ways to strengthen existing relations between the two sides.
