H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, met today, Sunday, 15 February 2026, separately with H.E. Mr. Jeffrey Kessler, U.S. Under Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Security, and H.E. Mr. Michael Kratsios, Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, during their visit to the country.

The two meetings reviewed ways to strengthen economic and trade relations between the State of Qatar and the United States, and discussed prospects for cooperation in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies in support of innovation and economic development.
