As part of his ongoing follow-up on the progress of work within the Ministry, H.E. Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, visited the Ministry’s Operations Center today, Sunday, 8 March 2026, where he reviewed the level of strategic reserves of essential commodities and the mechanisms used to monitor supply chains.

During the visit, His Excellency received a briefing on the measures taken to ensure the stability of supplies and the coordination mechanisms with suppliers and relevant entities, which contribute to market stability and ensure the smooth flow of goods.

His Excellency stressed the importance of continuing field inspections of markets and strengthening coordination among the various concerned entities to ensure market stability and the availability of essential commodities for consumers.

His Excellency also commended the efforts of the Ministry’s staff, praising their constant readiness to monitor markets and address various developments, thereby contributing to maintaining market stability and meeting consumers’ needs.
