His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, met today, Thursday, 23 April 2026, with His Excellency Mr. Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of India, via video conferencing.

During the meeting, the current situation in the region was discussed, and the challenges it imposes on the economy and international trade, particularly with regard to global supply chains. Ways to enhance their resilience and sustainability were also reviewed, in a manner that contributes to supporting the stability of global trade flows.

The two sides also reviewed the trade and investment cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of India, and ways to develop them in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both countries.
