H.E. Dr. Ahmad Al-Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs, met with H.E. Mr. Maninder Sidhu, Canada’s Minister of International Trade, via videoconference on Monday, 1 June 2026.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the latest developments in trade and investment relations between the State of Qatar and Canada. They also followed up on initiatives proposed during previous meetings and high-level visits between the two countries and discussed ways to further enhance economic cooperation in support of mutual interests and the continued growth of bilateral partnership opportunities.
