H.E. Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, met today, Monday, 15 June 2026, with H.E. Dr. Kim Jung-kwan, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea, who is currently visiting the country. 

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral cooperation relations in the trade, investment, and industrial fields and discussed ways to further strengthen and develop them, in addition to a number of topics of mutual interest.

It is worth noting that the volume of trade exchange between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Korea reached approximately USD 8.44 billion in 2025. The Republic of Korea ranked as Qatar's fourth-largest trading partner during the same year. The Qatari market also includes 168 Korean and Qatari-Korean companies.
