His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, met today, Monday, 6 July 2026, with His Excellency Mr. Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, Ambassador of the sisterly United Arab Emirates to the State of Qatar.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them, particularly in the trade, investment, and industrial fields, in addition to discussing a number of topics of mutual interest.

It is worth noting that the volume of trade exchange between the State of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates reached approximately USD 8.4 billion in 2025, achieving a growth rate of 10% compared to 2024, while the value of Qatari exports to the UAE exceeded USD 6.7 billion. More than 642 Emirati companies also operate in the Qatari market, underscoring the strength of economic relations between the two countries and their promising prospects, while reflecting the growing momentum witnessed in bilateral relations between both sides.
