His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al–Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, met with a delegation from the Global Advisory Council of the Wilson Center, on the occasion of their participation in the Doha Forum, held between March 26-27.

The officials reviewed the cooperation between the Qatar and the US, and ways of enhancingthem, especially in the commercial, investment, and industrial fields.

During the meeting, H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Industry welcomed the visiting American delegation, pointing to the importance of regular meetings to exchange views anddevelop the historical Qatari -US bond, and to enhance coordination and mutual cooperation in areas of common interest.

H.E. also underscored the strength of the relationships between Qatar and the US, as this year marks the 50th anniversary since diplomatic relations between the two nations were established.

H.E. highlighted the economic policies Qatar has put in place to support the private sector and pointed to the incentives, legislations, and promising opportunities that allow American companies to expand and invest in Qatar.
