HE Sheikh / Jassim bin Abdul Aziz Al Thani, Minister of Business and Trade held a number of meetings, this morning, with foreign officials currently participating in the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development UNCTAD (13).
HE conferred with each of His Excellency Mr. Robert Sichinga Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry at the Republic of Zambia, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Mohamed, Minister of Economic Development, Republic of Maldives, and HE Ms. Tarja Kaarina Halonen, former President of the Republic of Finland.
His Excellency the Minister of Business and Trade welcomed at the beginning of the meetings the guests and wished them good stay in the State of Qatar and all success in the “UNCTAD” conference, which will conclude its work this weekend.
During the meetings they discussed issues related to business and trade and ways of development, in addition to a number of issues of common interest.
