HE the Minister of Business and Trade Sheikh Jassim Bin Abdulaziz Al Thani met on Sunday morning, 14/04/2013, with Mexico’s Former Secretary of Economy Herminio Blanco, who was accompanied by the Mexican Deputy Foreign Minister and Mexican President’s Special Envoy, Lourdes Aranda Bezaury.
During the meeting they exchanged views and discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the economic and trade related areas, in addition to other topics of mutual interest.
The volume of trade exchange between the two countries in 2012 reached QAR 1.897 billion, while  Qatari exports to Mexico valued QAR 1.091 billion and were mainly mineral fuels, lubricants and distilled products. The value of the Qatari imports from Mexico was about QRS 806 million mainly machinery and vehicles.
