The Irish Delegation Expresses Its Appreciation for the Qatari Accomplishments

A high ranked Irish Trade Delegation, including Heads of 40 major companies, paid a visit to the Ministry of Business and Trade, where they were welcomed by a number of senior officials and departments’ managers. The delegation was impressed by the level of accomplishments made by the State of Qatar, which include programs and major projects within the programs of sustainable development in Qatar.
During the visit, they reviewed the Trade Policies of the State of Qatar, where Ms. / Noor Ahmed Al Ansari, researcher in the Department of International Cooperation and Trade Agreements, made a presentation on the programs and plans of the Trade Expansion in Qatar, based on the 2030 Qatar Vision. In her turn, Ms. / Nadia Haroon, provided a visual explanation on the opportunities and areas of investment in the State of Qatar, in addition to Mr. / Rima Sankoor who made a presentation on the Small and Medium Enterprises.
The delegation expressed its satisfaction with the detailed and accurate information they got regarding the Trade and Investment Performance in Qatar, in addition to the available opportunities aiming to enhance the Trade and Investment Relations between the State of Qatar and Ireland.
At the end of the visit, a reception was prepared by the high ranked officials at the Ministry of Business and Trade in honor of the visiting delegation, during which they reviewed the Irish – Qatari Trade Relations, and the ways of bolstering the volume of bilateral trade and investments between the two countries, especially that Qatar has become the focus of attention of the investors worldwide.
The guests left the Ministry building expressing their appreciation for the ministry’s efforts to provide the detailed and accurate information, in addition to the atmosphere of discussions surrounded by friendliness and respect, in a way that encourages the accomplishment of the visit’s aims in the best way.
