High-Level Qatar–Saudi Meeting to Advance Trade Facilitation and Supply Chain Efficiency

H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, held a high-level meeting via videoconference with H.E. Dr. Rumaih bin Mohammed Al-Rumaih, Vice Minister of Transport and Logistic Services of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Abduljabbar, Acting Governor of the General Authority for Foreign Trade; and H.E. Mr. Musa bin Ahmed Al-Barqi, Deputy Minister for Logistics Services at the Saudi Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Mr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Jamal, Chairman of Qatar’s General Authority of Customs; H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Ibrahim Al-Maadeed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport; HRH Prince Saad bin Mansour bin Saad bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Qatar; and H.E. Mr. Bandar bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, alongside a number of senior officials from both countries.

The meeting reflects the two countries’ commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation and coordination in trade and logistics. Discussions addressed several matters of common interest, with particular emphasis on facilitating trade flows, streamlining customs procedures, improving the efficiency of logistics services, and increasing bilateral trade.

These efforts serve the shared interests of both countries, reinforce their strong fraternal relations, and contribute to advancing their common economic objectives.
