H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, met on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, with H.E. Nicolas Forissier, Minister Delegate to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, responsible for Foreign Trade and Attractiveness, via videoconference.

The meeting discussed current regional developments and the challenges they pose to the global economy and international trade, particularly with regard to global supply chains. The two sides also reviewed ways to enhance their resilience and sustainability in support of stable global trade flows.

Both sides further reviewed trade and investment relations between the State of Qatar and the French Republic, and explored avenues to strengthen them in a way that serves the mutual interests of both countries.
