Functions

1- Preparing the Ministry’s strategic plan, in coordination with the competent authorities and concerned administrative units, and taking the necessary measures for its approval.

2- Outlining existing challenges, identifying and evaluating institutional risks that may hinder the achievement of the Ministry’s objectives, and submitting the necessary proposals in this regard in coordination with the concerned administrative units

3- Managing and preparing alternative plans to ensure the continuity of the ministry’s operations in cases of emergency and crisis, in coordination with the various administrative units, each within its own jurisdiction

4- Processing draft executive plans, projects and programs by various administrative units for approval by the Minister.

5- Following up on the implementation of plans related to the ministry’s activities, evaluating their outcomes, and submitting periodic reports in this regard

6- Assessing challenges and obstacles hindering the implementation of the ministry’s strategic and executive plans, and proposing appropriate solutions

7- Evaluating the quality of services provided by administrative units in coordination with competent authorities

8- Reviewing and evaluating the performance of administrative units, and putting forward proposals to boost efficiency

9- Ensuring that work systems align with the ministry’s objectives and proposing plans to develop and simplify procedures in coordination with the concerned administrative units and competent authorities

10- Assessing challenges faced by the ministry, identifying their cause and proposing the appropriate solutions

11- Receiving and assessing creative proposals and ideas in coordination with the concerned administrative units and competent authorities

12- Monitoring, collecting and analyzing statistical data related to the ministry’s activities and coordinating with the concerned administrative units to submit the required data

13- Coordinating with the concerned administrative units and competent authorities when it comes to international indicators related to the ministry’s activities
